Affiliate agreement
Affiliate program terms.
These terms govern participation in the Neon Valley Research LLC affiliate program.
Research Use Only. All products are intended strictly for laboratory research and identification purposes. Not for human or animal use. Not a drug, food, cosmetic, or supplement.
1. Eligibility and approval
- Applications are reviewed manually. Acceptance is at the sole discretion of Neon Valley Research LLC and may be declined or revoked at any time.
- You must be at least 21 years of age and legally able to enter into this agreement.
- You are an independent contractor. This agreement does not create an employment, partnership, agency, or joint-venture relationship.
2. Commission
- The standard commission is 15% of the eligible merchandise subtotal of a qualifying referred order. Your current rate is shown in your dashboard and may be adjusted in writing.
- Rate changes are prospective only. The rate in effect when an order is attributed to you is locked to that order, so a later change never re-prices past sales.
- The eligible subtotal is the merchandise total after discounts and coupons. Shipping, handling, and taxes are excluded.
- A commission is recorded once the referred order reaches a paid status in our order system.
- If an order is partially refunded, the commission is recalculated on the reduced eligible subtotal; the difference is deducted once, whether the commission was already paid or not.
- Commissions are not paid on your own purchases, on orders placed by accounts you control, or on orders generated through prohibited conduct.
- Commissions are NOT earned on gift cards or other cash-equivalent items, and your discount code does not apply to them.
- Your customer discount percentage and your commission rate are two separate settings. Changing one does not change the other.
- Every earned commission, reversal, adjustment, and payout is retained as an auditable history in your dashboard.
3. Attribution
- Referrals are tracked two ways: your unique referral link, and the WooCommerce discount code assigned to you once you are approved.
- Link attribution is first-touch and lasts 30 days: the first affiliate credited for a visitor keeps the referral for that window.
- If an order carries both a stored referral link and a different affiliate discount code, the discount code wins, because entering it is a deliberate action by the customer. The source of every commission is recorded in your dashboard.
- A discount code that is expired, disabled, or not assigned to an affiliate earns no commission.
- If your account is suspended or terminated, your discount code is disabled going forward. Commissions already attributed to it are unaffected.
- Attribution is verified server-side against WooCommerce when an order is created. Client-side data alone never determines a commission.
4. Holds, reversals, and payouts
- Every commission is held for 30 days from the qualifying order date so refunds, cancellations, and chargebacks can settle.
- Order status and refunds are read directly from our WooCommerce store, so your balance reflects what was actually paid.
- Commissions on refunded, cancelled, or otherwise reversed orders are voided. If the commission was already paid, an equivalent negative adjustment is applied against future earnings.
- Payouts are processed monthly on payable balances of at least $50. Balances below the minimum roll forward.
- You are responsible for supplying accurate payout details and for all taxes on amounts you receive.
5. Research Use Only marketing rules
- All products are supplied strictly for laboratory research and identification purposes and are NOT FOR HUMAN OR ANIMAL USE.
- You may not publish dosing, reconstitution, administration, cycling, or any human or animal use instructions.
- You may not make or imply medical, therapeutic, disease-treatment, anti-aging, weight-loss, performance, or bodybuilding claims.
- You may not describe the products as drugs, medicines, supplements, cosmetics, or consumables, or imply regulatory approval.
- You must clearly and conspicuously disclose that you may earn a commission on referred purchases.
- You may not market to anyone under 21 years of age, or in any jurisdiction or channel where the promotion would be unlawful.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or deceptive advertising of any kind.
- Bidding on Neon Valley Research brand terms, or using confusingly similar domains, handles, or ad copy, without written permission.
- Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, iframes, malware, browser extensions, or any artificial inflation of clicks or orders.
- Self-referrals, fraudulent orders, or unauthorized posting of codes to coupon aggregators.
- Using our name, marks, or imagery in a manner that suggests endorsement of a use that is not laboratory research.
7. Suspension and termination
- Either party may terminate participation at any time and for any reason.
- We may suspend an account, withhold unpaid commissions, and reverse paid commissions where we reasonably determine fraud, compliance violations, or breach of these terms occurred.
- On termination, unpaid balances that were earned in compliance with these terms are paid on the next regular cycle once the $50 minimum is met. If a final balance stays below $50, it is paid out in full on the next monthly cycle after termination rather than being forfeited.
8. Changes and governing terms
- We may update these terms, commission rates, hold periods, and payout thresholds. Material changes apply to commissions earned after the change takes effect.
