Refund & returns policy.
Eligibility, return authorization, restocking, and chargeback policy for every Neon Valley Research order.
Summary
Because Neon Valley Research supplies materials strictly for laboratory research, refund and return eligibility is limited and reviewed per order. All products currently listed on this site are for research purposes only.
Refund eligibility
- Eligible: sealed, unopened products returned in original packaging within 14 days of delivery, and orders that arrive damaged or with a compromised temperature log, reported within 48 hours of delivery.
- Not eligible: opened products, products with a broken tamper-evident seal, custom or special-order items, and orders reported more than 14 days after delivery.
- Restocking fee: a restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to returned orders that do not result from a shipping or product defect.
Return authorization (RMA) process
- Email neonvalleyresearch@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return to request a Return Authorization number.
- Ship the material back in its original packaging using a trackable service. The researcher is responsible for return shipping unless the return results from a shipping or product defect.
- Once received and inspected, an eligible refund or replacement is processed. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after inspection.
Damaged or compromised shipments
If a shipment arrives with damaged packaging or a compromised temperature log, do not use the material. Photograph the shipment and contact support within 48 hours of delivery for a replacement or refund.
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled at no charge before dispatch. Once an order has been dispatched it is subject to the return policy above.
Chargebacks
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us at neonvalleyresearch@gmail.com before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer. Most disputes are resolved directly and more quickly through our support channel. Fraudulent chargebacks on delivered research-only material may be pursued for recovery.
